Pressure Response of a Horizontal Well in Tight Oil Reservoirs with Stimulated Reservoir Volume

Abstract Stimulated reservoir volume is an effective stimulation measure and creates a complex fracture network, but the description characterization of network are very difficult. Well test analysis common method to describe it key build proper interpretation model. However, most published works only consider shape fractured area or stress sensitivity effect, few take both factors into account. In this paper, based on properties flow law after stimulated volume, model established with arbitrary effect different areas. The solved conduct pressure response using Laplace transform, point source function, boundary element theory. influence fractures’ parameters analyzed behavior. Results from study show that special regimes for horizontal well (1) bilinear dominated by hydraulic fractures, (2) linear formation around (3) crossflow matrix system area, (4) radial control area. Parameters fractures mainly affect early stage On contrary, stress-sensitive affects middle late stages; stronger is, more obvious is. findings can help better understanding in tight oil volume.
